A Night Out at the West Jet Fall Wine Festival!

Last weekend was the annual West Jet Fall Wine Festival.  Held at the Kelowna airport’s Carson Air hanger, this event gives you the opportunity to taste your way through a variety of the Okanagan’s delicious wines. If you have a love for wine this is the perfect night out.  Personally I prefer a white wine; here are a few of my all time favorite wineries & wines that were featured at the event.  If you enjoy a sweeter white these are a great option.

Arrowleaf

Bacchus

Field Blend

Tinhorn Creek Vineyards

Gewurztraminer

Volcanic Hills Estate Winery

Bubbly Gewurztraminer

Reserve Viognier

The Okanagan Wine Festivals Society (OWFS) is committed to providing unique a wine experience to Valley locals and visitors alike. The Fall and Spring Okanagan Wine Festivals bring together numerous wine-themed events which allow guests to create their perfect wine experience in what has been named by USA Today as the world's second-best wine region to visit.

OWFS began in 1980 in the infancy of the Okanagan wine industry. Since then, it has grown alongside the industry itself, and now produces four seasonal festivals with over 1 million events annually, as well as two wine judging competitions; one of which is the oldest in the province.

Fall Okanagan Wine Festival took place from October 3 - 13, 2019.
