VIDEO: Hips Don't Lie: How To Do A Hip Hinge (Properly!)

Key points for the hip hinge drill:

  1. Maintain 3 points of contact with the broom stick - your tailbone, mid back and back of head

  2. Have a gentle bend in your knees, if hamstrings are very tight allow for more bending during the movement

  3. Move your hips in a backward motion during the movement while keeping most of the weight on your heels.
