ACUYOGA Workshops

Our intimate acuyoga class is a 1 hour all levels yoga class led by chiropractor and yoga instructor Dr. Stephanie Beveridge, D.C. This is followed by a 30-minute acupuncture assisted Savasana with registered acupuncturist, Nicole Albertson

There is a theme for each class.  The mood is set, and the yoga poses and acupuncture points are selected based on the theme of the class. 

We are running a seasonal Acuyoga series which occur on or around the solstices and equinoxes. 

  • Summer solstice
  • Fall equinox
  • Winter solstice
  • Spring equinox

This series helps to prepare you for the shift in the seasons both mentally and physically.

We also host Acuyoga classes throughout the year with different themes and focus.

Yoga mats, blocks, and straps are all provided.

Rehabilitative Yoga Workshop

Our Rehabilitative Yoga workshops are led by chiropractors and yoga instructors Dr. Melanie Brandt, D.C. and Dr. Stephanie Beveridge, D.C. Workshops are 1.5 hours run in a series of three. If you love or would like to start practicing yoga but would like a deeper understanding of how to practice safely, this is the class for you. All levels are welcome!

Learn To

Practice yoga safely, prevent common yoga injuries, and apply functional rehabilitation through the yoga asanas (postures)

DNS Rehabilitation (Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization) & Yoga principles go hand-in-hand

  • The Nervous System establishes patterns that control human posture, movement, and gait. This ‘motor control’ is largely established during the first critical years of life; if you have studied how babies develop movement patterns from rolling – sitting – standing – walking, you will notice there is always a common pattern. It all starts with BREATHING, then SUPPORT, then UPRIGHING of the spine and body.
  • This three-week workshop will break-down DNS principles – BREATHING – SUPPORT – UPRIGHTING – with YOGA. We will teach you how to apply these principles into your yoga practice
  • Each week will include one of these three DNS principles, as well as a 30min yoga practice to integrate these principles
